DJ MC Mello has dedicated over 35 years to his craft as a DJ, starting in the mid-1980s. His repertoire includes a diverse range of genres, from Dance and House to Rock, Disco, and Old-school, among others. He has graced venues such as "The Scratch," "Club Crescent," and "Club Ozone" in downtown Montreal. Today, he continues to entertain as a mobile DJ for "Sound Express." I was a DJ from 1973 until the early 80s, they were small private clubs, mixers without pre-listening and Thorens belt-driven turntables... Disco-prehistory.I recently found some stereo 4 music tapes of my own and other friends' evenings which I will convert to digital. I have the recording year of some or brief note, in others there are no notes but I only know that it is beautiful music from the past. Long live dance, house, funky and similar genres ! I apologize for the beginning and end of the mixes which are with abrupt fade or some minor volume distortion: are live sets recorded at the club. Happy listening :-)

I've been mixing music since about 1998... These days, it's just a hobby. Once a month or so, I download a bunch of tracks and make a fresh mix out of them. Generally, I like to play 3 or 4 different types of house music (classic, funky, bass, disco, electro, melodic, tech, progressive and hard!) and also some techno and trance. I hope you dig it! Favorite DJs: Bad Boy Bill and Richard "Humpty" Vission are the two that inspired me to want to get into DJing. They will always be the best to me. Bang Bang!!
